Alyssa

Venora

Alyssa Venora is our sweet, swingin' soprano, and an elementary music teacher in Brooklyn, New York! When she's not teaching kiddos, she enjoys cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and exercising. Alyssa holds two Bachelors degrees in Music and Education, and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UConn. Alyssa is a passionate choral musician that believes everyone can and should sing!

Meet the group!

Emily

Gaggiano

Emily's dulcet tones supply the alto in our quintet! Though raised in Northeast Philadelphia (go Eagles!), she is currently a senior at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, where she studies Music Theory and Composition and sings with cool musicians like the Philadelphia Orchestra and the NY Philharmonic in Westminster Symphonic Choir. Among Emily's many passions are Zumba, small birds, zebras, Freddie Mercury, and her smushy orange kitten, Freddy.

Mark

Farnum

Mark is our resident tenor, and he can sing really high. He's also a computer whiz, editing all our audio and video content at his ninja workstation. Mark works as a professional audio engineer, recording and producing music all over the northeast region.

Chester

Martin

Chester's smooth baritone rounds out Highline's lower voices. He received his acting BFA from UConn and now spends his days noodling at the piano, climbing everything he sees, befriending dogs & tiny humans, and zipping around on his e-bike, Shirley.

Jared

GRaveley

Jared is the bass of the group! When he's not singing "Dm Tsm Dm Tsm" like his part on All Of Me, he can be found arranging, singing classically with other professional choral ensembles, conducting, and beatboxing. He holds a degree in music from UConn, and spent his college summers directing Hyannis Sound, Cape Cod's "All-Star" professional a cappella group. Now, Jared is focused on his career as a professional musician in New York City.
